Never again a boiling-over pan.

You’re happily cooking, potatoes or vegetables simmering away on the stove… and suddenly you hear that dreaded sound: ssssssssst…
Before you know it, the foam spills over the edge of the pan, drips onto your stovetop, and leaves you scrubbing away that annoying burnt ring afterwards.
A lot of people place a wooden spoon across the pan. Sometimes it works… but honestly? I find it a bit inconvenient myself.
My favorite tip: add a small knob of butter to the boiling water. The butter helps reduce the foaming, which means your pan is much less likely to boil over.
Extra bonus: your kitchen stays clean and you won’t have to sprint to the stove like a panicking chef.
